Is SALVE made to measure or bespoke?
Made to measure. We work from SALVE’s established garment silhouettes, adjust the fit to your measurements and note your preferences. We do not describe every garment as a one-off pattern drafted from scratch.
What happens at the first appointment?
We discuss what you already wear, the occasion and the fit you want. Then we review the garment and cloth options, take measurements and explain price, fittings and expected delivery for your order.
How long will my order take?
Timing depends on the garment, cloth and current workload. Tell us your event date before you order so we can confirm whether the commission is feasible. Please do not rely on a generic delivery estimate for a time-critical wedding.
What does it cost?
Prices depend on the garment and chosen cloth. You will receive the price before ordering. Product pages show the current listed price where available; the final scope is confirmed during the appointment.
What if I need changes to the fit?
We discuss fitting arrangements and any alteration terms before placing the order. Tell us which areas have been difficult in previous garments so we can focus on them.
Can I reorder without being measured again?
We keep fit notes and preferences on file. A repeat order can often start from those details; we will check if a fresh fitting is advisable when the garment or your fit has changed.
Can you dress me for several wedding functions?
Yes. Bring the invitation dates and dress codes. We can decide where a sherwani, bandhgala, suit or tuxedo actually belongs, and plan the outfits together.
What is the difference between a bandhgala and a sherwani?
