How much does a SALVE bandhgala cost?
₹24,500 for the Noir and ₹37,500 for the Jaipur and the Jodhpur Neo, each with matching trousers. The shirt and shoes are separate.
What is a bandhgala?
A closed-neck Indian formal jacket with a standing collar, worn as a suit with matching trousers. It sits where a business suit or a dinner jacket would in a Western wardrobe.
Is a Jodhpuri suit the same thing?
Yes. A Jodhpuri suit is a bandhgala worn with matching trousers. The Jodhpur Neo is our version, with a narrow open neck and three clasps.
Which one for my wedding?
The Jaipur for a daytime ceremony or the sangeet. The Noir or the Jodhpur Neo for the reception. Many grooms pair a bandhgala for the sangeet with an achkan for the wedding itself.
Is a bandhgala formal enough for black tie?
In India, yes. The Noir is cut as the Indian counterpart to a tuxedo and is correct wherever a dinner jacket would be.
Do you really come to my home?
Yes. Appointments are at your home or office in Gurugram or Delhi, by arrangement. Tell us your area when you book.
How long does it take?
Usually about two weeks from the measuring visit. Tell us your event date when you book and we confirm the timing before you order.
What if it does not fit?
The fitting exists to catch it before the bandhgala is finished. If we cut it wrong, we remake it at our cost.
