Before you book
How much does a SALVE suit cost?
₹24,500 for the Lutyens, ₹28,500 for the Solis and ₹37,500 for the Regent, each with matching trousers. The shirt, tie and shoes are separate.
The Lutyens or the Regent?
The Lutyens is the working suit: single-breasted, Terry Rayon, easy to wear five days a week. The Regent is the occasion suit: double-breasted fine wool for receptions and evenings. If you are buying one suit, buy the Lutyens.
What about a summer suit?
The Solis is a cotton-linen two-piece for hot days, daytime weddings and travel. It breathes like linen and creases a little less. Read our linen suits guide.
Navy or charcoal grey?
Navy if it is your first suit. Charcoal grey if it is your second, because it does something navy does not and it photographs better under office light.
What is Terry Rayon?
A smooth blended cloth with good drape. It holds a line through a long day and is comfortable through most of the Gurugram year, which is more than can be said for heavy worsted.
Can you come to my office?
Yes. Appointments are at your home or office in Gurugram or Delhi, by arrangement. Tell us the address and a time when you book.
How long does it take?
Usually about two weeks from the measuring visit. If you need it for a date, tell us when you book and we confirm the timing before you order.
What if it does not fit?
The fitting exists to catch it before the suit is finished. If we cut it wrong, we remake it at our cost.
What do I pay, and when?
Nothing to book. 50% when you order, the balance on delivery.
