The Viraj is SALVE's signature linen sports jacket. It takes a restrained Indian standing collar and puts it on an easy modern shape: a narrow open front, soft shoulders and a conventional two-button stance. The result is sharp without being formal, which is the hardest register to get right and the one most men actually need.

Choose the Viraj for the standing collar and the linen, worn open over almost anything. The Dumas is the conventional soft-shoulder sports coat with a notch lapel if you want something that takes a tie.

Yes, and it should. Linen creases where you bend and settles when you hang it. A linen jacket that holds a crisp line all day is not linen.
In most Gurugram offices, yes, particularly in chocolate brown or olive. Natural off-white is the weekend and warm-weather one.
